III PROFESSIONAL CONFERENCE OF INTERACTIVE PSYCHOANALYSTS
SHERATON HOTEL, NOVI SAD
THEME: EPISTEMOLOGY AND PSYCHOANALYSIS
The Third Professional Conference of Interactive Psychoanalysis Specialists was held on December 7, 2024, in the grand hall of the Sheraton Hotel in Novi Sad. The event was organized by the Institute for Philosophy and Interdisciplinary Studies, and the theme was Epistemology and Psychoanalysis.
Eleven presenters spoke in front of a large audience. For those unable to attend in person, an online broadcast was available, allowing international guests to participate as well. The program was divided into two sessions.
The conference was opened with a welcome speech by Prof. Milan Popov, the creator of the Interactive Psychoanalysis approach and the founder of „Agrafe“, the journal for the philosophy of psychoanalysis.
After the first session, certificates were awarded to the new Interactive Supportive Psychoanalysts, Tanja Todosijević and Larisa Mikić.
Igor Grujičić, philosopher and interactive psychoanalyst, opened the first session and delivered a lecture titled „Thalassa – The Theory of Genitality“.
In his presentation, Grujičić introduced the key features of one of the most original works by Sandor Ferenczi, which represents an important contribution to psychoanalysis as a whole.
The analysis covered the relationship between ontogeny and phylogeny, using Ferenczi's concept of catastrophes as a central element in understanding these relationships.
Grujičić also discussed the significance of the concept of amphimixis in the context of psychosexual development. He highlighted Ferenczi's innovative approach to applying psychoanalysis, which he referred to as bioanalytic research.
After the two sessions, a high-quality discussion ensued, marked by important and insightful questions and answers.
Following the debate, the social gathering continued with a lunch at the Sheraton Hotel restaurant.
